Week 3

Render image

So just upload what i have got on Monday tutorial. i will keep going to make more models. Right now nearly thirty. But first thing first, we need to make sure to have a design element not just the number of models.

This is a image that i render by using the light and camera, but i will consider the material for my models later. I am really headache right now, had a cold these days.



Prepare render image

My word is "Universe, Organic, Swallow". So i have choose several nebula pictures , universe's mystery, the first image is the real nebula. The first word come into my mind when i saw this image is epic. The second one just the wallpaper, as you can see, i take several kind of "vortex" action to give the meaning of 'swallow' for my one of three words.

Week II

So that is what i have done for my solidwork model i have test on the 3ds max

In next few days, i will follow our schedule to make more iteration. Give them more meaning by my three different words.

So on Tuesday lecture time, i remeber Sunny show us a vedio that looks like some growing pattern. And i thought that is really link with my 'organic' idea.

These are just some of the models i have screen-shot of my process of 3ds max project 1. i have to get used different modifiers. And make my final hero shot look much more link with the feature i want.

I feel little sick this weekend, but here is several results has come in the end of week 2. Render quality was not quite good, i will try to ask tutor on the class about it.

That is on today tutorial time just play around the 3ds max and solidworks. Need to get used to the whole interface and how to do the modifier in the 3ds max. I found that it's quite interesting programme but also a quite difficult programme. So i should have more practice to know the application. Then we can get more interesting iterations we want.

Noun: Universe

all space, including all the stars and Planets.

to take into the stomach by drawing through the throat and esophagus with a voluntary muscular action, as food, drink, or other substances.

Chosen Words and some sketches

These three words are coming from my precedent images and also from my sketches. 

Noun - Universe

From my precedent image - 'sky' tower in auckland. When people talk about the tall building, their name always let us imagine about the universe. I want to create my models become soft looking, and it flow in the universe. Universe can be a huge, complicated world with lots of mystery places, like UFO. And also can get some ideas from the aeroplane, shuttle, UFO etc.


Adjective - Organic is really direct meaning to the model, it is really nature fluid form, with cruved structure

Verb - Swallow

It can be the black hole, a black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity prevents anything, including light, from escaping. Solar eclipse, lunar eclipse is the astronomical phenomenon, it also give us the swallow feeling. Use visual difference could give people that feeling. The python picture from precedent images inspire me about that verb.

The Persistence of Memory Salvador Dali , and a kind of steampunk image, it is means something about time, is it the future would be distort like this? Surrealism take something from our real life but why they look also a kind of parallel world product ?

Creatures in our world, jelly, python... they have their unique style or  modeling, organic form and different textures will be have more meaning for me to find those three words.
