Hello, here is my dsdn104 blog. Hope you will enjoy it in the future. I will try my best to design a good idea project in this course. This is the first step what i have done on one software called solidwork, how exciting it is!
For Mechanical I recomdent Solidworks, you can do motion and stress studies. I have never used proE but it is popular, people I personally know who have worked with both prefer solidworks, but I have heard some people online say they prefer ProE over SW
